The Allbritton Communications Company is a Washington, D.C.-based owner of television stations-all affiliated with ABC after signing an affiliation agreement in 1997.

Allbritton launched The Politico, a political news website and newspaper on January 23rd, 2007, the day of the 2007 State of the Union Address.
