The State Anthem of the Moldavian SSR (Moldavian: (Cyrillic) Имнул де Стат ал РСС Молдовенешть) was the national anthem of Moldova when it was a republic of the Soviet Union and known as the Moldavian SSR.

The music was composed by Ştefan Neaga and Eduard Lazarev. The words were written by Emilian Bukov and Ivan Bodarev.

Алэтурь де алте републичь сурорь.

Пэшеште ымпреунэ ку Русия маре

Спре ал Униуний сенин виитор.

Дойна ынфрэцирий прослэвеште Цара,

Moldova Sovietică, plaiul nostru’n floare

Alături de alte republici surori.

Păşeşte împreună cu Rusia mare

Spre al Uniunii senin viitor.

Doina înfrăţirii proslăveşte Ţara,

Cu înţelepciune condusă de Partid.

Cauza lui Lenin – cauză măreaţă –

O înfăptuieşte poporul strâns unit.

Slavă în veacuri, renăscut pământ!

Munca să-ţ’ fie creator avînt!

Şi comunismul – ţel nestrămutat –

Înalţă-l prin fapte pentru fericirea ta!

Soviet Moldova, our flowering land,

Beside other sister republics

Is walking together with great Russia

Toward the serene future of the Union

The Doina of brotherhood is praising the Country

Wisely led by the Party

Lenin's cause - a great cause -

Is achieved by the united people

Glory in ages, reborn land!

May your work be a creator elan!
