He is currently playing for CSKA Moscow of Russia, and the Brazil national football team. In 2005 Daniel Carvalho became the first foreign player to be named Russian Footballer of the Year. He is known for his free kicks, passing and footwork. This year Daniel Carvalho signed a new contract with Cska but the details of the contract were not released.
