Grant Estes

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Grant Estes is a Canadian guitarist who has lived in California since 1981.[citation needed] He was one of the first guitarists for the band Suicidal Tendencies, during the band's hardcore punk era. The only Suicidal Tendencies album he played on was their self-titled debut, released in 1983. He left after it was recorded; never playing with the band after the record was released. Afterwards he played in numerous glam and spandex metal bands, but did not go on to success.[citation needed]

In May 2006 he reunited with his old Suicidal Tendencies bandmates, Louiche Mayorga and Amery Smith, to form a band named AgainST with Excel vocalist Daniel Clements and former No Mercy singer Kevin "The Jerk" Guercio that will be featured in the Welcome 2 Venice compilation.[1]
