The park features an amphitheater that is home to the long-running outdoor musical, Stephen Foster — The Musical, which is staged each night except Monday during the summer. For the first time in 2007, the musical will share the facility with a production of Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, which will be staged on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights in July and September, alternating with Stephen Foster. In addition, the amphitheater will host Monday-night concerts by B.J. Thomas, Billy Joe Royal, Steve Holy, Darryl Worley, The Lexington Philharmonic Orchestra, and 1964 - The Tribute, a musical tribute to The Beatles.
The park also features an 18-hole golf course and a 39-site campground.
