Real Radio Scotland is an independent local radio station within the Real Radio brand. It took over from Scot FM in 2002.
Lately Real Radio Scotland was made the UK's Commercial Radio Station of the Year.
Latest RAJAR figures show that the station has 771,000 adult listeners; average hours of 12.4 and a percentage reach of 29% and is the most listened to commercial radio station in Scotland.
The station gives its name to a corner at the Scottish racing circuit, Knockhill.

Real Radio provide news every hour, every day, with extended news programmes at 13:00 and 17:00. As well as the news headlines Mon - Fri ~ 6:30, 7:30, 8:30, 17:30, 18:30. Head of News is Heather Kane in charge of a news team of 10 broadcast journalists.
