"Still D.R.E." was the lead single from Dr. Dre's multi-platinum second album 2001. This song features Snoop Dogg on the intro, chorus and outro. It is the third most downloaded single by Dr.Dre on iTunes.

The single was very popular, helping the album reach multi-platinum status. The lyrics, co-written by Jay-Z (credited as S. Carter in the album's liner notes) announce Dre's triumphant return to the forefront of the hip-hop scene. A sample:

The song was produced by Dre with Mel-Man, with Camara Kambon and Scott Storch on keyboards, who created the famous riff. It debuted at number 93 on the Billboard Hot 100 and fell off the charts soon after.
It interpolates Grant Green's "Maybe Tomorrow" from his 1971 album Visions.
