Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

When the gang heads to The Bait Shop to see The Subways, Taylor's horsing around causes a major rift between Seth and Summer. Marissa, determined to end the potentially explosive rift between Ryan and Volchok, does whatever it takes to watch out for Ryan. Meanwhile, Matt, Sandy's Newport Group partner, goes above and beyond the call of duty. Julie Cooper reigns supreme as the only "bitch" in Orange County and Ryan uses his head for once.

Sandy: Hey, what is so incredibly pressing on a Sunday?

Seth: It's a Sabbath, dad, it's the day of rest. I don't make the rules. (briefly kissing two fingers and showing towards the sky) Talk to the big guy.

Seth: (Kirsten enters the room) Mom, listen, Sunday I'm gonna be there, provided that I'm not gonna be struck down by a lightning bolt.

Kirsten: Oh, thanks Seth, that means a lot.

Sandy: (ironically) Such generosity ...

Julie: Tell me again I have to do this.

Charlotte: Julie, you have two daughters, no husband and no money. You're about to get 300.000 dollars.

Julie: Oh yeah, I'm totally doing this.

Taylor: (about the stability of Seth and Summer's relationship) On a scale of 1 to 10, how stable are they? 6 .. 6.5?

Ryan: 10?

Marissa: So, Summer told me what happened yesterday with Volchok.

Ryan: Oh, yes, Seth kept a secret a whole 12 hours ... must be a record.

Charlotte: You don't have any friends here.

Julie: Wrong. I have Kirsten .. and I won't do this to her. Now, I think it's time you left, don't you? This town's only really big enough for one manipulative bitch. (kissing Charlotte goodbye on the cheek with a false pleasure) Take care, sweetie!
