Turk 182! is a 1985 film about the brother of a New York City firefighter who was injured in the course of an off-duty rescue, and was denied disability compensation for his injuries by the city's mayor. After his request for assistance was rejected, the firefighter's brother, played by Timothy Hutton, decides to get revenge by making the mayor (played by Robert Culp) look bad in public. The injured firefighter is played by Robert Urich. Using graffiti and marking his work with the tag Turk 182, Jimmy attempts to expose the mayor's involvement in a scandal for which he has denied not only responsibility, but also knowledge. The name Turk 182 comes from the nickname of Urich's character, Turk, and his badge number, 182.

The tag "Turk 182" was based on real-life graffiti artist TAKI 183.[1]
